To install, search for "InterLoop" on the Apple App Store (iOS 17+) or Google Play Store (Android). InterLoop is officially released and ready to use, providing fast, battery-efficient location sharing and safety check-ins.

InterLoop uses modern, cryptographically secure OAuth authentication. With "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google", you are verified in seconds with zero password hassle. The server stores no passwords and requires no email activation links. Apple's "Hide My Email" private relay is fully supported to protect your personal privacy.

Groups in InterLoop are strictly invite-only to protect your family's privacy. Only the group owner can generate and share an invitation link or QR code. When an invited member taps the link or scans the QR code, they immediately join the group securely—no manual approval queue required.

To leave a group, navigate to the group member list, tap the ... next to your name, and select "Leave Group". Group owners can also manage roles, appoint other owners, or remove members. If you are the sole owner, appoint another owner before leaving, or remove all members to delete the group cleanly.

Members' live positions are plotted on the interactive map. Tapping a member's pin highlights their profile card, showing their last updated location timestamp and current device battery level. If a member's location is outdated, they may have lost cellular signal or disabled background location access on their device.

No-Activity checks monitor device sensor data and location updates. You can set active monitoring hours (e.g. 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM) and a timeout period (e.g. 2 hours). If no motion or check-in is detected within the window, an alert notification is automatically dispatched to notify your designated emergency contacts.

Safety check-ins can be completed manually or via scheduled voice reminders. In an emergency, tapping the SOS button initiates real-time client-side broadcasting with high-frequency GPS tracking, bypassing silent/Do Not Disturb constraints on group members' devices to ensure immediate attention and rapid response.

The AI companion acts as a warm, responsive chatbot designed to verify user welfare. Conversations are fully private and secured. You can talk to it to get local weather context, ask about basic health checks (e.g., asking for advice on minor daily issues), or use it to combat isolation.

The smart translator supports voice and text input. By selecting a target language, you can speak naturally, and the app will instantly generate translated text and output the speech in the chosen language. This enables fluent, real-time two-way dialogue when traveling or interacting with foreigners.

Each API request made to the AI Companion consumes LLM token credits. To top up, simply tap the "Top Up AI Credits" button in settings. The app automatically builds a secure link that logs you straight into the Stripe Checkout dashboard without having to type or copy your API key manually.
